If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can target 1 FIRE monster in your GY; add it to your hand. You can only use this effect of “Duelittle Chimera” once per turn.
Duelittle Chimera proves to be an interesting tech due to its various synergies with the deck. It’s typically summoned using Ponix and another FIRE monster, after which Fire Island triggers to destroy it and add Sacred Fire King Garunix.
The combo usually involves Duelittle Chimera targeting Ponix (CL 1) and Garunix (CL 2), then Garunix activates its effect to destroy Fire King Avatar Arvata from the deck. Next, Arvata targets Duelittle (Arvata reborns 1 FIRE Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast monster in your GY) (CL 1) and Ponix (CL 2) to special summon itself since Arvata was destroyed from the deck.
This combo ensures a +1 in terms of body presence and can be useful in various setups, serving as a one-card combo to provide an extra monster for use as Link material.
