Fire King

The largest tournament of the month, featuring 564 players, was claimed by Fire King, securing the first, second, third, and fourth positions in a victory that can be described as nothing short of overwhelming for the archetype.
The proposed decklist features only one Legendary Fire King Ponix and introduces two intriguing tech choices not observed in previous lists: “Snake-Eye Dramatic Chase” and “Sinful Spoils of Betrayal – Silvera.”
These two cards synergize to provide the deck with an additional layer of disruption.
Droll & Lock Bird seems to have made its appearance in the main deck of some lists, taking precedence over Nibiru, The Primal Being.
As for the extra deck, this particular list incorporates not only the Selene, Queen of the Master Magicians / Accesscode Talker package but also Salamangreat Raging Phoenix / Worldsea Dragon Zealantis, forgoing Amphibious Swarmship Amblowhale and the second copy of Promethean Princess, Bestower of Flames.
Just when one thought the deck ratios and extra deck choices were settled, the fire of revolution ignites, an innovation that opens the doors to new theories and boldly carves its space in such a complex meta without seeking permission.

R-ACE

Despite featuring unconventional ratios, such as the inclusion of two copies of Droll & Lock Bird, which is becoming a growing trend to counter the Snake-Eye/Bonfire package, the addition of Lord of the Heavenly Prison seems to be an interesting choice. Could this configuration potentially emerge as a new tech in the gaming landscape?

Infernoid

Another fire-themed archetype makes a grand reappearance, and following the release of the Terminal World set, the deck seems to have received a more than considerable boost:

Void Blaze-Up [SPELL CARD] Reveal 1 “Infernoid” monster or 1 “Void” Spell/Trap in your hand; discard your entire hand, then draw the same number of cards you discarded. If you control no monsters or only Fiend monsters, except the turn this card was sent to the GY, you can banish this card from your GY. Then, target up to 11 of your banished “Infernoid” monsters with different names and return them to the GY. You can only use this effect of “Void Blaze-Up” once per Duel.

Infernoid Evil [FIEND / FUSION / EFFECT] 2 “Infernoid” monsters / ATK 1100 / DEF 1100 If this card is Fusion Summoned: You can banish 1 “Infernoid” monster from your GY; send “Infernoid” monsters with different names from each other from your Deck to the GY equal to the banished monster’s Level. If this card is sent to the GY or banished, you can add 1 “Void” Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand. You can only use each effect of “Infernoid Evil” once per turn.

Infernoid Flood [FIEND / LINK 4 / EFFECT] 2+ monsters, including an “Infernoid” monster / ATK 3000 When your opponent would Special Summon a monster(s) (Quick Effect): You can Tribute 1 monster; negate the Summon, and if you do, banish that monster(s). If a card(s) is banished from your GY, you can banish 1 card on the field. If this Link Summoned card in its owner’s control is destroyed by an opponent’s card, you can Special Summon 1 “Infernoid” monster from your Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions. You can only use each effect of “Infernoid Flood” once per turn.

A new deck, waiting to be discovered and unraveled. The proposed list utilizes Transaction Rollback and Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal, to create an foolproof lock using the cumbersome but potent Ghost Meets Girl – A Masterful Mayakashi Shiranui Saga (perhaps a shorter name would be appreciated) or Void Feast, a renowned OG card that allows the summoning of multiple disruptions and follow-ups. With Transaction Rollback, this card becomes a threat even when going second, enabling the summoning of as many monsters as possible, leaving the opponent with few chances to survive.

The issue this deck faced in the past was the limited number of pushes it could make. Once the few available plays were utilized, the deck gradually ended up with nothing to summon, having all its resources removed. This problem is now resolved thanks to Void Blaze-Up, which recycles up to, believe it or not, 11 different-named Infernoids! Additionally, by utilizing Proxy F Magician, it’s possible to summon Infernoid Evil, which can theoretically mill up to 11 different names!

Of course, in a fire-themed deck, Promethean Princess, Bestower of Flames, cannot be omitted, as it revives Infernoid Decatron. The deck has various tools to swiftly and effectively finish games. There are several intriguing engines to explore, such as Snake-Eye – Bonfire/Extra-Foolish Burial for Infernoid Evil, which, despite the restriction of not being able to set cards in the turn it’s activated, seems very interesting. And, of course, there’s Gale Dogra.

In conclusion, excitement is high among fans of the archetype, which appears to have endless evolutionary potential. All that’s left is to wait and let these players cook up some fiery strategies—LET EM COOK!
