R-ACE

Rescue continues to stand out as a top-tier deck of the week. The featured list opts for only one copy of Rescue-ACE Impulse to boost its starters. Super Polymerization remains the ultimate board breaker.
In the proposed list, we see Gilti-Gearfried the Magical Steel Knight for Mannadium (usually used against S:P Little Knight and Baronne de Fleur), while Mudragon of the Swamp and Garura, Wings of Resonant Life feature in a wider range of decklists.
The extra deck seems standard, except for the absence of Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess. Overall, in the side deck, we notice Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion more commonly used for Labrynth, Droll & Lock Bird for various combos like Mannadium or Purrely, and D.D. Crow for Fire King and Purrely.

Mannadium

The proposed list incorporates both hand-traps and board breakers. While Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring may not be particularly synergistic with the deck due to the effect of Peaceful Planet Calarium, which boosts the attack of light monsters for each Tuner in the graveyard, rendering extenders like Meek unusable, it is necessary in an R-ACE meta. The extra deck offers a wide selection of synchros like Swordsoul Supreme Sovereign – Chengying, which, when combined with Mannadium Reframing, adds another layer of disruptions to the endboard. Abyss Dweller serves as a counter to Tearlaments, which, despite the banlist, still maintains a presence at the top tables of the competitive scene.

Tearlament

The version with the Destiny Hero and Danger! package appears to be the most popular version at the moment.
Unlike the ones listed previously, this one plays Baronne de Fleur as well as Tearlaments Grief.
Similar to the versions shown earlier, this version focuses on its playstyle, aiming for an endboard consisting of Toadally Awesome, S:P Little Knight, and Baronne de Fleur with Tearlaments Sulliek and Tearlaments Kaleido-Heart.
Using Droll & Lock Bird instead of Superpolymerization seems to be a rather questionable choice in an R-ACE meta.
The side deck adopts a strategy that counters R-ACE with a mid-range approach, contrary to the deck’s nature.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the competitive scene continues to showcase the dominance of decks like Rescue and Mannadium, with their versatile strategies and strong card choices. However, newer variations such as the Destiny Hero and Danger! package are also gaining traction, offering fresh approaches to the meta. Despite some questionable choices in certain builds, players are adapting their side decks to counter the prevalent R-ACE meta.

Intriguingly, as the meta evolves, new strategies emerge, promising exciting developments in the competitive landscape. Stay tuned for our upcoming articles to discover the latest trends, deck innovations, and tournament results shaping the future of competitive Yu-Gi-Oh! dueling.
