R-ACE

After the introduction of Diabellstar, the deck has achieved high levels of consistency. Moreover, this engine enables the deck to execute synchro combos, utilizing Jet Synchron to summon Borreload Savage Dragon and Baronne de Fleur to protect Rescue-ACE Turbulence. Super Polymerization serves as a counter against the mirror match, Tearlaments, and Mannadium, proving to be generally potent against non-meta tier decks as well.

Mannadium

Steven Trifunoski piloted Mannadium, a deck flying under the radar of the competitive scene that demonstrated a surprising edge against various metagame decks. It’s an unconventional choice that rewarded his hard work. The deck is capable of outing boards not only through its main engine but also thanks to several flexible options at its disposal, such as Triple Tactics Talent, Realm Eulogy, Enemy Controller, and Forbidden Droplet. These options prove highly effective when combined with Kashtira Fenrir, causing early interruptions in open game states.

The extra deck, designed not only for going first but also for powerful OTKs, includes cards like Dharc the Dark Charmer, Gloomy/Knightmare Unicorn, and Accesscode Talker. When combined with Vicious Astraloud, these cards enable easy and effective OTKs under various interruptions.

D-Link

Dragon-Link, with its potent playstyle adept at navigating handtraps, secured both 1st and 4th places during the regional event in Thessaloniki. Despite the limitations imposed by the previous banlist on Chaos Space and Bystial Magnamhut, the deck continues to perform remarkably well at the highest levels. The Bystial package at its disposal provides easy access to Bystial Dis Pater and Branded Regained as central pillars on which the deck relies to maneuver around Nibiru, the Primal Being. Furthermore, this setup ensures follow-up plays by banishing and reshuffling cards, such as Striker Dragon, back into the deck.
With access to Rokket Recharger in the graveyard, Dragon-Link can re-buildt its entire board even if it is cleaned-up.

Conclusion

In summary, three decks have emerged as prominent contenders in recent weeks, with Purrely maintaining a notable presence in the scene:

  1. R-ACE: Improved consistency with Diabellstar, enabling synchro combos and strategic plays with Super Polymerization as a versatile counter.
  2. Mannadium: Piloted by Steven Trifunoski, it surprises with its disruptive potential against various metagame decks. Flexible options and a carefully crafted extra deck contribute to its success.
  3. D-Link (Dragon-Link): Despite banlist restrictions, D-Link remains resilient, securing top positions in regional events. The Bystial package and strategic graveyard usage showcase its adaptability.

These decks highlight the diversity and innovation present in the current Yu-Gi-Oh! metagame, each bringing unique strengths to competitive play.
